Our Toad Security Van Alarm system is a purpose-built solution combining both advanced tracking and high-performance alarm technology, specifically designed to protect your tools, equipment, and on-board cargo. This all-in-one system features live GPS tracking, 24/7 UK-based monitoring, and an integrated alarm that will immediately call your phone if triggered—ensuring you’re alerted the moment a threat is detected.
How long will it take to fit my Van Alarm system?
This can vary depending on the vehicle and whether you choose to include optional features such as immobilisation or additional interior sensors. We recommend setting aside a full morning or afternoon depending on your time slot, for the installation to ensure there is ample time for a thorough and efficient setup.
Where is installation carried out?
Installation is carried out by our fully mobile team of expert installers, covering all of mainland UK. We can install your system at your home, workplace, or job site—whichever is most convenient for you.
Will installing a Van Alarm system lower my insurance premium?
As our Van Alarm system is Category S5 Thatcham approved, this can often lead to a reduction in your insurance premium. Many insurance providers offer discounts for vehicles equipped with advanced security systems, as it lowers the risk of theft and damage. Be sure to check with your insurer for specific discounts related to your system.
Will I receive alerts if my vehicle is moved or stolen?
You will receive phone call alerts for the following critical events: unauthorised vehicle movement without the ADR tag, vehicle towing, and battery disconnection. Further to this, you will also receive a phone call if your alarm is triggered.
Can I track my vehicle from my phone?
Yes, absolutely! You can track your vehicle using our app ‘ScorpionTrack’ available on IOS and Android. On here, you will be able to view the live location and journey history, setup vehicle alerts and more.
Does the system work abroad?
Yes, our tracker offers comprehensive European coverage by leveraging the 4G network, ensuring seamless operation in all countries with 4G infrastructure.
Can I shut down my vehicle remotely?
The S5+ Van Alarm system offers enhanced security through both automatic and remote immobilisation functionalities. Automatic immobilisation prevents the vehicle from starting if the ADR tag is not present. Additionally, the remote immobilisation feature provides an extra layer of security by allowing you to immobilise the vehicle remotely, regardless of the ADR tag’s presence.
Can I add extra sensors to my Van Alarm system?
Additional sensors can be integrated with your system either during the initial purchase or as a subsequent upgrade. For further details and pricing, kindly contact our sales team.
What triggers the alarm?
The Van Alarm system uses interior PIR sensors, and any movement detected whilst armed, will trigger the alarm. The alarm also features a built-in tilt sensor, so lifting the vehicle will trigger the alarm.
What warranty is included with the Van Alarm system?
The Van Alarm system comes with a 2 year warranty.
Is there a monthly or annual fee?
There is a subscription required to activate the Van Alarm system. You will be unable to track the vehicle or receive any alerts from our monitoring team without an active subscription.
Can I transfer the Van Alarm system to a new vehicle?
Your Van Alarm system and subscription can be transferred to a new vehicle. However, please note that Lifetime Subscriptions are non-transferable. For full details and pricing, kindly contact our sales team.
What happens if I sell my vehicle?
Your Van Alarm system and subscription can be transferred to a new vehicle or the new owner of the vehicle. Please note: Lifetime Subscription is non-transferable. For full details and pricing, kindly contact our sales team.
